Box No. 13168 Jeddah 21493 K.S.A (mrsajidsayyed@gmail.com ) Job Description Position: Design engineer Education: A Graduate of Mechanical Engineering Experience: MIN 5 Yrs Skills: - Sound knowledge of manual design and calculation of tanks, pressure vessels, and structures. - Experienced in computer aided design software’s, STAAD PRO, PV Elite, and Tikal. - Knowledge about materials, material take off, alternative materials and its integrity - Good communication skills - A team player - Must have excellent knowledge of international codes and standards for design and calculation API, ASME, and other codes Duties: - Design and calculation of tanks, pressure vessels, and structures - Reviewing the list of materials before procurement - Communication with clients, consultants, and third party inspections for approvals - Working with Co- Engineers to make efficient designs, with less welding - Working with procurement for specification - Reviewing shop drawings and guiding draftsmen - Work with management for upgrading, improving, or purchasing new software’s in the market Job Description Position: Structural Engineer Structural engineers design and supervise the construction of many structures, including supports used for tanks and steel bridges, ladders, and its integrity. Duties Calculates loads and stresses on structures, investigates the strength of foundations and beams, and determines whether or not a structure can function safely. Education A four-year bachelor\'s degree in structural Engineering Skills Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills are required. Must be able to work cooperatively within a team environment. Typical activities include: § analyzing configurations of the basic structural components of a building or other structure; § calculating the pressures, stresses and strains that each component, such as a beam or lintel, will experience from other parts of the structure due to human use or environmental pressures such as weather or earthquakes; § considering the strength of various materials, e.g. timber, concrete, steel and brick, to see how their inclusion may necessitate a change of structural design; § liaising with other designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction; § examining structures at risk of collapse and advising how to improve their structural integrity, such as recommending removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding the entire structure; § making drawings, specifications and computer models of structures § investigating ground conditions and analyzing results of site tests, such as soil samples; § liaising with construction teams to ensure that newly erected buildings are structurally sound; § applying expert knowledge of the forces that act on various structures; § Using computers and computer-aided design (CAD) technology and other software’s for simulation purposes. Working with draftsmen to insure sound drafting, connections, and material choices. Job Description Job title: Welding inspector Skills and qualification: Candidate must meet the below requirement: - A certified welding inspector from a recognized international certifying agency such as American Welding Society or other approved agencies. - A bachelor in mechanical engineering or a diploma - Must have at least 5 years experience in welding inspection of steel fabrication - Must have experience in quality control, ISO 9001, NCR process - Must be able to read drawing, check fabricated goods against drawings. Dimensions etc - Must be able to read and write English - Must be familiarized with relevant codes and standards used in the steel fabrication Job description: - Inspection of welding and quality at the shop floor located in the factory or inspection of site work activities in any location within Saudi Arabia. - Preparation of QC paper works and coordinating with the AZ QC management and client QC department with regards to ongoing activities. - Prepare quality reports about nonconforming goods, rejected goods, or quality issues during fabrication. - Coordinating with head office and third party inspections required at site, or in the factory area Other quality related activities that might arise and is related directly or indirectly to inspection.
